The Downtown Ficiton

Maybe it's too late to know The Downtown Fiction in 2011, but I think there's no word "late" to know everything that you should to know. Actually, when first time I watched their official video (I Just Wanna Run) on youtube, I have no special feeling for this band or their song. They like another indie band with cute vocalist Cameron Leahy, cool bassist David Pavluk, and another cool and cute guy Eric Jones on drum. After I heard their full EP "Best I Never Heard" I started to realize that "ooooh this band is different, I'm falling in love with them. Their songs like soundtrack in my life (lebay)", since that I searching anything about them, their songs, their biography, their photos (of course), etc. And this is a little biography about this band from wikipedia

Music career

Early Years

Lead singer and guitar player Cameron Leahy met drummer Eric Jones in high school, where they became friends. They had a mutual interest in music, and formed The Downtown Fiction in the summer of 2008. They began to post demos on the band's MySpace page, where their fan base initialized. Needing a bassist, Cameron and Eric added David Pavluk to the band, who also is responsible for background vocals. "The Downtown Fiction" is inspired by the film Pulp Fiction, a favorite film of Cameron and Eric.

Recent

The Downtown Fiction toured for a year, and were soon signed to Photo Finish Records, an independent New York record label. They were a part of the Bamboozle Road Show 2010 and the Warped Tour 2010, and the “100 Bands You Need To Know” issue of Alternative Press Magazine. A self-titled EP by the band was released in March 2009, featuring a few of their rising hit songs, including "Is Anybody Out There?" and "Living Proof." This EP was succeeded by an additional EP a year later in March 2010 called "Best I Never Had." In August 2010, the band premiered their first music video for the single "I Just Wanna Run." It is so far their most popular song, and is the first radio single for their first album "Let's Be Animals." The Downtown Fiction released their third EP entitled "The Double E.P," which consists incorporates all of their preceding EP's tracks, and a rough demo song called "Keep On Moving." In late February 2011, the band kicked off The Glamour Kills Tour which featured The Ready Set as the headliner, along with Allstar Weekend, We Are The In Crowd, and briefly Marianas Trench. In early April, the band's first single for their debut album premiered, entitled "Thanks For Nothing." In late April 2011, "Let's Be Animals," the band's first full-length studio album was released. The Downtown Fiction will also embark on their first headlining nationwide tour with the same album name. The Let's Be Animals Tour will also have Amely, Cady Groves, The Summer Set, We the Kings, and He Is We.

High School Time

In this new entry I'll share you some photos about my classmate (again)  in many events such as pensi, study tour, or anything else. I think all 12 grade students like me will miss high school life, include all people in there, teachers, all our joke, bad or good scores we had, and etc. So, photos can help us to cure this feeling.

This is one of historical photos that I and my classmates had took. It's taken when we got many achievements, we became a real champion in our school competition. I'm became a leader in walking race and got a gold medal (yes, I'm a legend!).

We love our teachers, one of them is Ms. Fauziah (our math teacher). She is such a kind person, attractive, close with us, and of course we love the way her teach us. So she became the first teacher that we wanted to take photos together.
The boys with our mothers Mrs. Yunita
And this is the girls.

This batik photos taken because we need something new and fresh to decorated our classroom. We looked so charm I think ( in this photos you can see our 11 grade's mother, Mrs. Aris)
A little blueprint, this photos taken when we had a gathering to spent out our money.
The latest photos of us. Anyer 26-April-2011
Actually I have another photos and another story, but I can't tell to you right now.
but one thing you must know, I really love them :)

Introductory Post

Holla world! Today I want to introduce my new blog entitle "I'm Eighteen!".Why this blog named "I'm Eighteen?" simple, because I made it when I'm eighteen and I'll be fill it with my eighteen life (but it is possible to me to change my blog name someday). Actually this blog replace the one before "http://evisite.blogspot.com/" which titled "The First Chapter" so this is the next chapter . Different with my first blog, in this blog I'll share to you not only anything in my mind or my personal experience but I also try to tell you any knowledge about our entire life. This blog doesn't has any specific theme, this is made from my own perspective. I think all these words enough to explain "I'm Eighteen" and I hope you can enjoy it!
